Strongly populations mainly restricted to lowland, but in the South local and mostly restricted to mountain lakes.\nHabitat:\nStanding waters, such as large ponds and small lakes in woodlands, bogs and heaths, but as oxbows, gravel pits, fishponds, sluggish rivers and canals.\nFlight Season:\nEarlier than other Emeralds: from late April to late July, mainly in May and June but not before mid-June in the far North.\n\nThis is a common Species in the Eastern Parts of the Netherlands in the described Habitats.
