A series of photos of northern leopard frog from various locations . The northern leopard frog is native North American animal. It is the state amphibian of Minnesota and Vermont.
A northern leopard frog (Lithobates pipiens) is partially submerged in a calm pond, blending seamlessly with the surrounding green and yellow lily pads (Nymphaeaceae). The clear water reflects the sky while submerged plant stems add depth to the scene. Some of the floating leaves have tinges of autumn colors, creating a natural contrast. The frog's patterned skin and poised stance highlight its natural camouflage.

This lotus leaf is a plant from the Amazon region of South America. It is known that the tree was planted at the temple in the 1990s and is one of the rarest lotus varieties in the Southeast. On average, each leaf has a diameter of up to 4-5m. The 5cm curved leaf edges stand up like a giant tray. Southerners therefore call it a gun. On the contrary, Northerners quickly think of quai Thao hats. According to science, this plant has the scientific name Victoria amazonica and belongs to the water lily family. Usually lotus leaves can withstand a weight of 50-80kg. With a weight over 100-150kg, you need to choose the largest leaf size to load. King lotus leaves are light green and have a smooth top surface. The underside is initially bright red but gradually darkens with large, sharp veins. Leaf size may shrink depending on the season. In particular, the lotus leaves in the dry season are only 1 meter in diameter. During the rainy season, absorbing water vapor helps the leaves expand, sometimes up to 5m. This lotus variety is also larger than many other types. The flowers are white in the morning and turn pale pink in the afternoon. They bloom quickly with bright colors. It only takes about 3-5 days for the flowers to bloom.
